Tea has always been a source of comfort in our household, my grandmother would have us over for tea and serve her lovely homemade sponge cake, her table laid out with a fresh linen tablecloth and flowers - when we were on overseas postings with Dad, the official tea set with the gold Australian emblem would come out when we had guests, beautiful flowers in vases and lovely cakes & savoury petit fours would be served on silver stands, good times and lovely memories.....when my Dad passed away last October, Mum and I continue to find solace in having a cup of tea, it makes us feel better and we talk and reminisce about all the beautiful times shared with Dadxx.........
"If you are cold, tea will warm you. If you are too heated, it will cool you. If you are depressed, it will cheer you. If you are excited, it will calm you" ~Gladstone, 1865
