"Since Kaitlin was about 3mths old, i couldnt wait to start planning her 1st Birthday. I always loved the idea of a Carnival theme but didnt quite like the traditional colours. Mostly because i wanted a theme to represent Kaitlin. So since she is always dressed in Pink and (and bling wherever possible) I decided to replace traditional colours with pinks and bling! I added a touch of Aqua as i love the colour combination and just wanted something to cut through the pink a little.
The party was so much fun! For me the one of the best parts was watching the smiles and the giggles from the adults and the excitement from the kids as they helped themselves to the candy buffet. I got the reaction that i was hoping for - lots of fun!
But most of all I love the fact that i have created something wonderful that can be placed inside of a beautiful album that one day Kaitlin can look back and see what I did for her
