Fairy Floss Pastel Baby Shower by Sugar Coated Mama

Sugar Coated Mama styled this gorgeous Pastel Baby Shower, as told by Sugar Coated Mama I had a ball creating this baby shower for mum to be, Tahnee, who LOVES fairyfloss! The table was themed around the fairyfloss pastel colours with a touch of yellow and white stripe to create the old style candy store look. Pom Poms were hung from the top of the candy canopy to tie in with the fluffy fairyfloss styling and adorable mini pom pom toppers were used for accents on the table. We used apocathery jars to house all the fairyfloss, the flavours just popped in your mouth. The two tier coconut mud cake by Get Frosted was the centrepiece, decorated in stripes with purple top, bunting and customised baby banner saying "Sweet Baby Sams".

FOOD Tahnee carefully chose the menu for the baby shower, a fusion of delicious homemade goodness including: mini cheesecakes, chocolate covered oreos, baby carriage and baby romper sugar cookies, pastel swirl buttercream cupcakes, white chocolate coconut truffle balls, macarons, mini lemon meringue pies, white chocolate rocky road, peanut butter balls, mini strawberry mousse in little jars and mini nougat bites. There were also some delicious lollies including pearl purple gum balls, lollipops, rock candy swizzle sticks, chocolate covered raspberries (delicious), flying saucers and fruit chews. Fresh Lemonade was also served in baby bottles with striped straws to tie into theme, the ladies could not get enough of it.

The favours included little yellow polkadot bags filled with yummy lollies. It was a fun fairy floss fusion of yumminess…"
