Bridal Shower by Pretty Little Vintage Melbourne

Pretty Little Vintage Melbourne sent in this gorgeous bridal shower that they styled recently. As told by Justine we styled this "The "Girls & Pearls" themed bridal shower and as we are primarily a vintage crockery hire business, we loved how the apothecary glass jars looked alongside vintage pieces.

We also created a personalised "Mrs Mak to be" frame for the bride and dessert table backdrop using printables from Sweet Scarlet Designs. The high tea took place in one of our beautiful family home overlooking Melbourne's docklands. Our candy & dessert buffet table featured a pearl decorated cake, bespoke vintage cupcakes, cake pops and macaroons by sweet suppliers Done by Dunne, Ipops and La Belle Miette. This was intertwined with embellished candy buffet jars with little goodie bags placed on top of inverted vintage trio cups for guests to fill up and take away.

We also displayed a 'Savouries Cabinet' which featured home made sandwiches and various finger food. Sit down tables were styled and decorated by the Pretty Little Vintage team- pearl framed place setting which also substituted as a take home favour for guests, vintage tea trio sets with accompanying TLBC swizzle sticks set on Christina Re paper used as placemats. Centre pieces, floral arrangements, pearls, champagne, home made english scones and cake stands lined each table. The party would not have been complete with a photo corner for guests to jot down their marriage advice and snap themselves with an old school polaroid inspired (Fujimax instax) camera - something for the bride to be to remember the day by! The bride to be and her 25 lady friends had a lovely afternoon celebrating with fine china, fabulous friends and fantastic food!

We sourced these items from Little Big Company online store
- Swizzle Sticks: We used them in lieu of teaspoons and everyone loved it! They also added a hint of lavender flavour to the teas.. - Apothecary jars: We dressed them up with lace and pearl embellishments and filled them with pearl like candy! - Dispenser: We absolutely love the mercury lid dispenser, which we dolled up with pretty little pearls and lace fabric - Mini bottles: Super cute and just the right serving size - Straws: Pink polka to match our theme - Metal Candy Scoops: We placed them in vintage bowls and added lace bows to the handles"
