A Cheese and Chocolate, Bubbles and Beer, A Fun filled party with alot of Cheer by Sensationally Sweet Events

Sensationally Sweet Events had a belated Christmas and New Year celebration that she styled at her home inviting her friends to bring the cheer into the start of the New Year.

As told by the lovely Justine "I had chosen to incorporate 2 of my favourite foods for a 'Chocolate & Cheese' theme on my dessert table...oh, did I mention I live on the Gold Coast...temperatures of 40C+ over the last week...amid visions of platters of melting sludge I (hope I) managed to pull it together...thank goodness for air-conditioning!! Anyway - my colours were aqua, silver and gold with a good dose of glitter thrown in as well.

We served cute little cupcakes from Cupcake Parlour and the lovely ladies there were even good enough to stick with my theme and make the cutest little fondant 'brie wheels' for cake toppers, there was also chocolate mousse with aqua glittered wooden spoons, cheesecake pops, chocolate sugar cookies (by Sweet Arts by Bek ) and an assortment of chocolates in our colour theme. All table styling and other food was done by me (https://www.facebook.com/sens ationallysweetevents ) We had a 'Beer & Bubbles' bar set up as well and a vodka station with a few different juice mixers and all glassware was glittered and mod-podged to within an inch of its life. The last little touch was a photo-booth set up. My fabulous graphic designer (Jen from  Concept - Designs https://www.facebook.com/Conce ptDesigns?fref=ts ) created the cutest backdrop based on the film poster to promote 'The Usual Suspects' and all of our friends had the time of their lives posing for pics in front of the mug shot screen with crazy glasses, feather boas, blackboard speech bubbles and fake moustaches. One of my lovely friends (Lexi from Mr and Mrs Smith Photography who is also the professional photographer who records all of my work) was on hand to take some pics for me!
