Lace and Pearl Themed Christening by Once Upon a Table Events

Once Upon a Table Events styled this beautiful lace and pearl table.

As told by Once Upon a Table : Event Details: This lace and pearl themed dessert buffet was created for my daughter Olivia’s christening. Pearls have a special meaning to our family, and we wanted to incorporate these into the event. The lace worked so well with the pearls, and created a simple yet elegant design. We chose a pink and white colour scheme to highlight the lace and pearl elements, which was perfect for our little girl. The beautiful event stationery was provided by The Little Soiree and became the basis for the overall design. The “Lovely Lace” invitations, buffet labels, thank you tags, cupcake toppers and chocolate wrappers were just perfect, and we embellished them with pearls to suit the theme. The wooden initials, favour bags, paper flowers and wooden spoons were all made/decorated by Once Upon A Table. Caketopia did an amazing job at creating the main cake - a pink white chocolate mud cake with gorgeous buttercream ruffles. They also made the beautiful white mini pearl cakepops, quilted pearl cupcakes and rose swirl cupcakes. Marche du Macaron made delicious vanilla and salted caramel macarons, and these were definitely a favourite on the day. The decorated heart cookies were created by Say It Sweetly and were a lovely addition to the table. We also made jellies and cheesecakes in mini glass jars and lace doily cones filled with popcorn. Finally the wonderful Sonia from Miracle Moments Photography captured the day for us"
