Pinwheel Themed Christening by Confetti and Crumbs.

Giorgio's Pinwheel Christening
Giorgio's mum contacted Confetti & Crumbs with an idea of a Pinwheel theme for her little man's Christening. She wanted to incorporate mint green, baby blue and caramel - the colours used on the Invitation. The rustic twine, kraft paper and chalkboards were also prominent throughout the styling of this Christening. They were used for the menu, bonbonierie, cake and table centrepieces. The cake and a decadent dessert menu created by Confetti & Crumbs for this event included cake pops, mini cupcakes, small tarts and a selection of sweet candy. The two tier cake featured the pinwheels on the top tier and the bottom replicated the invitation with the corrugated kraft paper and twine. Doltone House Pyrmont is an old warehouse style venue situated on the historic Finger Warf.

The venue itself has a very rustic/warehouse feel which ties in effortlessly with the elegance of floor to ceiling glass walls and modern lighting. Dark wooden beams and corrugated iron works as a backdrop amongst the long deck and blacony area which overlooks Sydney Harbour and the city skyline. Simone from Raspberry Lime Paperie incorporated all these elements into gorgeous stationary and chocolate wrappers for the event. She also created the amazing Pinwheels used throughout the Dessert Bar and venue. The table centrepieces were created by Confetti & Crumbs with bowls of sand wrapped in a jute trim and twine that held together a selection of hand made pinwheels in printed papers in blues and greens.
