A Black and Silver Themed 21st Birthday by Cakes Mary Makes

The lovely Mary from Cakes Mary Makes styled and made the cake and all the sweet treats for her daughter's 21st Birthday as told by the lovely Mary "This small family gathering was to celebrate my daughter's 21st birthday. Melissa was involved in a pretty serious car accident almost 3 years ago due to a speeding driver. She endured many months in hospital with various injuries but thank god here to tell the story. Mel had only just started Uni (was there for 3 weeks) when the accident occured. Our lives were put on hold but are so very thankful we still have her beautiful life. 

After a year Mel was back at Uni, back behind the wheel of her car and back to life again. We were planning a huge celebration but unfortunately during the planning my youngest daughter's spinal surgery was bought forward so Mel's party was not to be. We still had all that we needed to celebrate this special birthday...our immediate family and that means more than anything in the world to me and of course still had the same cake that we were planning to have that I designed for her, along with the cake pops and cookies. All were made by me (CakesMaryMakes). Oh and my youngest daughter is doing great too now!! 

Cake flavours were white chocolate pistachio and lime mud and dark chocolate mud cake. Cake pops were chocolate mud decorated with silver cachous. Shortbread cookies with chocolate heart toppers.
