The lovely Astrid from Paper Playground styled this stylish and gorgeous black and white themed weedding.
As told by Astrid
The bride approached me with the Black & White theme and a clean, modern
look, and with the request that the writing "Mr & Mrs Farrugia" was written
in the middle of the buffet. She also requested only sweets (lollies and
chocolates) and no desserts. The only sweets she requested to be included
in the lolly buffet? Her favourite, sour straps.
I loved creating this buffet as it was more about the individual pieces
that sits on the buffet, like the little bottles that I purchased from The
Little Big Company that was transformed into a Love Potion (it was filled
with coconut juice) named after the couple's favourite song. Upon drinking
this Love Potion you are instantly transported to the couple's favourite
places they've been together, Mykonos and Malta =) The striped straws with
the straw flags and black and white ribbon finish off the look.
As there were no desserts there were other creative things made such as the
white chocolate-dipped marshmallows, Ferrero Rocher with toppers, the
chocolate bars with customised wrappers and an Oreo tower "cake".
Paperplayground also individually adorned 170x noodle boxes with black
grosgrain ribbon, with a thank you tag placed at the front of the box and a
little "please fill me up with some sweets" tag peeking out on top.
A "triple side" menu, beverage and table number was a good way to showcase
all three as it sits just nicely on each table.
I hope you feature my buffet, thank you for having a look!
