The Choc and Rock Lolly Buffet styled this lovely Vintage Lolly Buffet.
As told by The Choc and Rock Lolly Buffet:
When Paul and his lovely bride to be Sarah contacted us in June of 2013 we knew that this was going to be a lolly buffet that would stand out from the crowd. Both their wedding and their reception was being held at Toparies on Beaumont up at Samford - a vintage/country venue with a view to kill. Sarah's colours were pale pink, white and ivory with a hint of peach in there as well. Bird cages were the main centre pieces for the reception tables with vines around the bottom. Using vintage props such as the scales is what really set the table off! A replica telephone, a milk can and 6 mini milk bottles the table came to life! A very old box camera with a photo frame wrapped in pearls - and the scene was set! Flowers in tones of pink, white and ivory filled the bird cages, and vases to give that country garden feel. The noodle boxes took weeks to complete - having to dismantle them completely and wrap ivory lace, kraft paper and white ribbon around them - then finished off with a gorgeous vintage label. The lolly jar tags come from "Amaretto" all the way over in england, and they brought the jar's, compotes and vases to life! As an added surprise for the bride and groom we supplied mini meringues on the table for their enjoyment - but we also added 7 mini cupcakes as an extra special under a glass cloche with a tag that read "Mini cupcakes for the Bride and Groom" on the noodle box stand. This lolly buffet almost reduced me to tears when I stood back and seen it completed it at the venue. It truly was a stunning, amazing table! We wish Sarah and Paul all the best for a lifetime of happiness, and hope that their lolly buffet was a sweet end to their wedding day. www.facebook.com/thechocandrocklollybuffet
